Automotive Electrical Technician

Job Duties

• Perform quality installations of emergency lighting and accessories on all makes and model vehicles.
• Installation and assembly of after-market equipment and accessories, meeting allotted time requirements
• Performs wiring of emergency lights, camera systems, partitions, push bumpers, and miscellaneous accessory components
• Troubleshoots electronic, interior, exterior and mechanical systems
• Follows manufacturer’s specifications for installation of components and equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction

Experience & Requirements

• Strong electrical & mechanical background – 2 years of experience
• EVT certification not required but is a plus
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
• Ability to communicate well with others
• Prior experience in the automotive equipment or similar industry preferred
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
