About the Role

We are seeking an Automotive Driver to transport company vehicles, documents, and supplies, as well as run errands and provide customer shuttle service to and from the dealership.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a passenger van safely and efficiently.
  • Respond to dispatch or management requests for scheduled and unscheduled pick-ups or drop-offs.
  • Assist passengers in boarding and exiting the vehicle.
  • Inspect vehicle at the beginning of each shift for operational safety (lights, signals, tires, wipers, damage, etc.).
  • Maintain cleanliness and fuel levels of the vehicle.
  • Keep the interior of the vehicle neat and orderly.
  • Accurately complete driver sheets for each shift, including passenger counts, times, mileage, and destinations.
  • Treat all guests, customers, and others courteously and professionally.
  • Move vehicles within and between dealerships.
  • Pick up customer vehicles and transport them back to the dealership.
  • Organize vehicle inventory around the dealership.
  • Perform other related duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Current, valid driver’s license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and solve problems.
  • Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and a positive attitude.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and handle tools.
  • Occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Work in a loud environment near moving mechanical parts.
  • Potential exposure to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials, exhaust fumes, or other airborne particles.
