Automotive Diesel Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, following Lithia and manufacturer standards
• Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions, with a focus on diesel and engine systems
• Complete all repairs according to applicable safety requirements
• Road-test vehicles to verify quality and completeness of repairs
• Document work performed, test procedures/results, and time according to company clocking procedures
• Maintain an inventory of required hand and power tools

Requirements

• 2+ years of automotive repair experience (diesel experience strongly preferred)
• ASE and/or manufacturer certifications (not required)
• Strong team player with a customer-first mindset
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Pay

$35.00 - $45.00 per flat rate hour depending on experience and certifications with monthly bonus opportunities

Schedule

Monday through Friday; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and rotating Saturdays
