Automotive Detailer-Prep Technician - COLUMBUS, Ohio, United States

Duties And Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and detail new, used, and customer vehicles
• Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interiors
• Clean windows, mirrors, tires, wheels, and exterior surfaces
• Prepare vehicles for front-line display and customer delivery
• Move vehicles as needed throughout the dealership lot and service areas
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and presentation before delivery
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep and detail area
• Auxiliary support in keeping vehicle inventory presentation-ready
• Assist in multiple departments with vehicle preparation
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Follow all safety guidelines and proper handling procedures for cleaning products and equipment
• Work efficiently to meet daily vehicle prep and detailing needs
• Take pride in producing high-quality work and helping create a positive customer impression

Requirements

Experience in auto detailing, vehicle prep, car wash and detail services, dealership lot and vehicle preparation, or automotive reconditioning is preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience in a similar role is preferred.

Skills

Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.

$20 - $25 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday with some Saturdays required. Exact daily hours will be discussed during the interview.
