Automotive Detailer - Knoxville Airport- Full Time Temp

About the role

We are seeking a responsible, dedicated Temporary Full-Time Automotive Detailer to join our team at McGhee Tyson Airport (2010 Airport Hotel Drive, Alcoa, TN 37701). This is a temporary position with employment ending after 90 days.

$17 per hour

• Monday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Tuesday: OFF
• Wednesday: OFF
• Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Saturday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle's exterior—including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage.
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data.
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found.
• Verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth.
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicle.
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns; report warning lights, damage, or issues.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers as needed, including transporting them to and from branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other miscellaneous tasks.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be available for temporary work (40 hours per week) lasting a maximum of 90 days.
