Automotive Detailer - Car Washer- Union Centre

About the role

We are seeking a responsible, dedicated Automotive Detailer to join our team in West Chester, OH. This full-time position focuses on upholding the highest cleanliness standards in the industry, ensuring vehicles meet exceptional safety and hygiene protocols for customer rentals.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, trucks, and vans.
• Inspect vehicles for fuel level, warning lights, windshield damage, and customer belongings; place valuables in Lost & Found.
• Verify registration matches the license plate and is current.
• Check fluid levels, tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; inspect exteriors for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicles; report any safety concerns or damage.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers as needed, including transporting them to and from branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including cleaning branch interiors and exteriors (e.g., desktops, countertops, floors, trash, bathrooms, and parking lots).
• Perform miscellaneous tasks related to daily branch cleanliness.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol-related convictions on driving record in the past 5 years.
• At least six (6) consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship.

Pay

Starting rate of $15 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek.

• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Monday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday: OFF
• Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: OFF
