Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Tysons Corner

Pay

$18 per hour, based on a 40‑hour work week, with yearly merit increases based on performance.

Schedule

Full‑time, 40 hours per week. Available shifts include:

• Sunday/Saturday 8:00 am – 1:00 pm
• Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
• Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 7:00 am – 6:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry‑standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Check fuel level, warning lights, windshield condition, and reset vehicle settings to clear prior customer data.
• Inspect for customer items, place valuables in Lost & Found, and verify registration matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels, add as needed, and inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth.
• Fuel and stage vehicles; report safety concerns, warning lights, or damage; pull vehicles from prep processing when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed, including transporting customers to and from branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance: clean desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other miscellaneous tasks.
• Seek to improve job performance through self‑assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Satisfactory background check inclusive of driving record (no more than 2 moving violations or at‑fault accidents in the past 3 years; no DUI/DWI in the last 3 years).
• Preferred: under 25‑minute commute (in rush‑hour traffic) from the location.
• At least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Authorized to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
• Will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as required by law.
