Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Plymouth-Kingston

About the role

We are seeking a responsible, dedicated Automotive Detailer to join our team in Plymouth, MA. This full-time position focuses on upholding the highest cleanliness standards in the industry, ensuring vehicles meet our exceptional safety and hygiene protocols for customer rentals.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Inspect vehicles for fuel level, warning lights, windshield damage, and customer items; place valuables in Lost & Found.
• Verify registration matches the license plate and is current.
• Check fluid levels, tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; inspect exteriors for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicles; report safety concerns, warning lights, or damage.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers and transport them to/from branches as needed.
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including cleaning branch interiors/exteriors, desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, and sweeping the lot.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol-related convictions on driving record in the past 5 years.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• At least 18 years old.

Pay

$16/hour with potential yearly merit increases based on performance.

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Consistent schedule:
• Sunday: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
• Monday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
