Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Farmington Hills

About the role

We are seeking responsible, dedicated individuals to join our team as Full-Time Auto Detailers. This position is located at 24400 Drake Road, Farmington Hills, MI 48335, and pays $16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage.
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data.
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found.
• Verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth.
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage and report any safety concerns.
• Fuel and stage vehicle; pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including cleaning interiors and exteriors of branch locations (e.g., desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot).
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

  • Monday: 7:30am - 6:30pm
  • Tuesday: 7:30am - 6:30pm
  • Wednesday: OFF
  • Thursday: 7:30am - 6:30pm
  • Friday: 7:30am - 6:30pm
  • Saturday: OFF
• Option 2:
  • Sunday: 8:30am - 12:30pm
  • Monday: 7:30am - 6:30pm
  • Tuesday: 7:30am - 6:30pm
  • Wednesday: 7:30am - 6:30pm
  • Thursday: OFF
  • Friday: OFF
  • Saturday: 8:30am - 2:30pm

Pay

$16.00 per hour.
