Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Columbus South

About the Role

Enterprise Mobility is the largest and fastest-growing privately owned automotive rental and leasing company in North America, operating the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo brands. As an Automotive Detailer and Car Washer, you will lead our commitment to exceptional cleaning practices, ensuring vehicles meet high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals. This position is located at 3410 Veterans Pkwy, Columbus, GA 31904.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Inspect vehicles for fuel level, warning lights, windshield damage, and customer items; place valuables in Lost & Found.
• Verify registration matches the license plate and is current.
• Check fluid levels, tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; inspect exterior for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicles; report safety concerns or damage.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers and transport them to/from branches as needed.
• Maintain site appearance, including cleaning desktops, countertops, floors, bathrooms, and branch exteriors.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks related to daily branch cleanliness.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, and training.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• Candidates with more than 1 excessive speeding violation (26+ mph over the limit) in the past 3 years will be disqualified.
• No drug or alcohol-related convictions on driving record in the past 5 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must live within a 30-minute commute of the location.
• Must have at least six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.

Pay

$15 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek.

• Monday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday: OFF
• Thursday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
• Sunday: OFF
