Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Cicero

About the role

We are seeking a responsible, dedicated Automotive Detailer to join our team at 8072 Brewerton Rd, Cicero, NY 13039. This full-time position leads our commitment to exceptional cleaning practices, ensuring the health and safety of everyone by maintaining the highest cleanliness standards in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, safety, and readiness, including:
  • Checking fuel level and warning lights.
  • Inspecting windshields for damage.
  • Factory resetting/restoring vehicle settings to clear prior customer data.
  • Checking for customer items and placing valuables in Lost & Found.
  • Verifying registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
  • Checking fluid levels and adding as needed.
  • Inspecting tire condition, pressure, and tread depth.
  • Inspecting vehicle exterior for damage.
  • Fueling and staging vehicles.
  • Reporting any safety concerns, warning lights, or damage.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed, including transporting them to and from branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including:
  • Cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and trash.
  • Cleaning bathrooms.
  • Vacuuming and sweeping the lot.
  • Performing other miscellaneous tasks related to daily branch cleanliness.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.

Pay

$17.25 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek.
