Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Bolingbrook

About the role

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as an Automotive Detailer. The position is located at 417 N Bolingbrook Dr, Bolingbrook IL 60440. Offering full‑time and part‑time opportunities. Enterprise Mobility operates the Enterprise Rent‑A‑Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo car rental brands and is the largest privately owned automotive rental and leasing company in North America.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry‑standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior – cars, vans, and trucks
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle settings; check for customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found; verify registration is present, current and matches license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns; report warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage; pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations (desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, etc.)
• Seek to improve job performance through self‑assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than one moving violation and/or at‑fault accident on driving record in the past three years
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship
• Must have 12 consecutive months of work/organizational experience

Pay

The starting rate of pay is $16.50 per hour based on a 40‑hour workweek.

Schedule

Full‑time schedule: Sunday 8:00 am‑1:00 pm; Monday 7:00 am‑6:00 pm; Tuesday 7:00 am‑6:00 pm; Wednesday OFF; Thursday 7:00 am‑6:00 pm; Friday 7:00 am‑12:00 pm; Saturday OFF.

Part‑time schedule: Sunday OFF; Monday 7:30 am‑6:00 pm; Tuesday OFF; Wednesday OFF; Thursday OFF; Friday 7:30 am‑6:00 pm; Saturday 9:00 am‑2:00 pm.
