Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Asheville Downtown

About the role
We are seeking a responsible, dedicated Automotive Detailer to join our team at 954 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806. This full-time position upholds the highest cleanliness standards in the industry, ensuring the health and safety of everyone by washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles for customer rentals.
Responsibilities
- Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
- Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, safety, and readiness:
- Check fuel level and warning lights
- Inspect windshield for damage
- Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
- Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found
- Verify registration is present, current, and matches the license plate
- Check fluid levels and add as needed
- Inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth
- Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
- Report any warning lights, vehicle/windshield/tire damage, or safety concerns
- Fuel and stage vehicles
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
- Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
- Assist customers as needed, including transporting them to and from branches
- Maintain overall site appearance, including:
- Cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and trash areas
- Cleaning bathrooms
- Vacuuming and sweeping the lot
- Performing other miscellaneous tasks related to daily branch cleanliness
- Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting
- Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
- No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

Pay
Starting rate of $15 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek.

- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
