About the role

City CDJRF of Brookfield is growing, and we’re looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented Automotive Detailer / Car Detailer to join our team. As a Vehicle Detailer, you’ll play a key role in preparing new and used vehicles for customer delivery, showroom display, and sale while helping us deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, clean, wax, polish, and detail new and used vehicles to dealership standards
  • Perform complete interior and exterior detailing, including vacuuming, shampooing, glass cleaning, stain removal, dashboard cleaning, and trim care
  • Prepare vehicles for customer delivery, showroom display, photography, and dealership inventory
  • Apply waxes, paint protection products, tire dressing, and other protective coatings
  • Perform light vehicle reconditioning to improve vehicle appearance
  • Inspect completed vehicles to ensure they meet dealership quality standards
  • Maintain the appearance of vehicles on the lot and in the showroom
  • Safely move vehicles throughout dealership property
  • Assist with light Porter and Lot Attendant responsibilities as needed
  • Keep the detail department clean, organized, and operating efficiently
  • Follow all dealership safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an Automotive Detailer, Car Detailer, Vehicle Detailer, Porter, Lot Attendant, Car Washer, or Reconditioning Technician is preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work both indoors and outdoors
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is a plus
