Automotive Body Shop Technician

About the Role

Sheehy Auto Stores is seeking an experienced Collision Center Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be motivated, have a great work ethic, and strive for excellence with high-quality workmanship on all jobs. As the Collision Center Technician, you will identify and perform the necessary body repair work by the manufacturer and company specifications. All brand experiences are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Determine and repair damaged parts
• Communicate the status of repairs clearly to the body shop manager
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain the necessary parts
• Document all repairs performed
• Document all materials used
• Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly manner
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Past dealership experience required
• Past collision center experience is required as well
• Completion of a vocational program is preferred but not required
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Clean driving record & valid driver's license
• Able to pass a pre-employment background screening, Motor Vehicle Records check, and drug test
