Automotive Billing/Contracts Clerk

Responsibilities
- Process and finalize all vehicle billing transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Review and verify deal paperwork for completeness and compliance
- Submit contracts to lenders and ensure proper funding procedures are followed
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and cancellations
- Handle warranty cancellations, gap cancellations and service contract refunds
- Complete all necessary paperwork for new employees on their first day of work
- Reconcile schedules related to contracts, warranties and receivables
- Communicate with finance managers, lenders and customers as needed
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and state regulations
- Complete all training as directed by management
- Follow policies and procedures as set forth in Personnel Policy Manual and other corporate policies
- Complete any other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Prior automotive dealership experience (billing, contracts or accounting office)
- Strong knowledge of dealership management systems (Dealer Track, CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, etc. preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with warranty and GAP cancellations
- Accounting or bookkeeping background
- Familiarity with DMV/title processing
