Role: Senior Automotive and Diesel Technician Responsibilities: Diagnose and perform complex repairs on vehicles, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Follow multi-point inspections and repair orders, explain diagnoses and repairs to customers and staff, recommend necessary services, and maintain safety protocols. Adhere to company policies and demonstrate flexibility in work schedules. Qualifications: Prior automotive technician or mechanic experience required; ASE certifications preferred. Proficiency with diagnostic computerized tools and a valid driver’s license are necessary. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with technical school experience a plus. Skills & Physical Demands: Ability to work in varied environmental conditions with moderate to loud noises, dust, fumes, and hazards. Capable of standing for extended periods, bending, lifting up to 70 pounds, and performing physical tasks with full range of motion. Strong communication skills and vision for color and depth are essential.
