Essential Responsibilities
- Effectively leads and trains the Automation Service team consisting of indirect employees.
- Demonstrate visible HS&E leadership leading to increased employee ownership of HS&E performance.
- Ensures client satisfaction and retention through excellent service delivery.
- Proven leader. Develop and mentor a top-notch team capable of supporting future growth.
- Oversees organizational adherence to Lufkin Industries processes, policies, and best practices.
- Leads by example fostering a positive work environment in which employees professionally develop, grow, and retain.
- Responsible for the ongoing technical development/evaluation of the Automation service team.
- Able to inspire and rally a team to quickly resolve challenges.
- Builds leadership bench strength through individual self-accountability, training, and coaching.
- Develop a culture of continuous improvement. Identifies opportunities for improvement, determines the root cause of problem areas, and analyzes data, and solutions.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with automation, controls, or instrumentation including but not limited to Rod Pump Controllers, and Variable Speed Drive with Rod Pump Applications.
- Must have an in-depth working knowledge of rod lift systems well pumping application.
- Must have a working knowledge of Variable Speed Drives, AC motor theory, and application.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Reasoning Ability: Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should know Word processing software; Spreadsheet software, and Internet software.
