Responsibilities

  • Build, wire, assemble, and install electrical controls used in machines and tooling systems.
  • Create electrical schematics and electrical cabinet layout using AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Build and wire electrical panels.
  • Design low complexity machine guarding strategies that comply with OSHA and ANSI standards.
  • Wire external machine components to electrical cabinet.
  • Develop electrical parts list for the project.
  • Order parts for projects using Ariba Purchasing system.
  • Power up, troubleshoot, and commission machine to make production ready.

Requirements

  • As a Level I: 0-2 years of relevant work experience required. High school or GED required. 2 Year / associate degree in Electromechanical Technology, Automation Engineering Technology, or a related field of study preferred.
  • As a Level II: 2-4 years of relevant work experience required. 2 Year / associate degree in Electromechanical Technology, Automation Engineering Technology, or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required. Basic PLC training and Basic HMI Programming skills preferred.
  • As a Level III: 4-6 years of relevant work experience required. 2 Year / associate degree in Electromechanical Technology, Automation Engineering Technology, or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required. Basic PLC training and Basic HMI Programming skills preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school or GED required.
  • 2 Year / associate degree in Electromechanical Technology, Automation Engineering Technology, or a related field of study preferred.
  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience required.
  • Basic PLC training and Basic HMI Programming skills preferred.
