Job Summary
Havel is seeking a Controls & Automation Technician to install hardware design and software programming, documenting processes for the Building Management Control Direct Digital Control Systems.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete typical installation hardware design and software programming using established standards as required
- Provide detailed information to communicate design and operation to customers and subcontractors
- Responsible for graphics building
- Check out of HVAC control systems and wiring
- Complete the loading, device verification, and commissioning of all system controllers as required
- Document processes for the Building Management Control Direct Digital Control Systems
- Develop long-term relationships with contractors, clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- Attend job progress meetings as required
- Adhere to safety standards
Qualifications
- Minimum of a technical Associates Degree with 1-2 years of field experience or 3 years of equivalent related experience in the HVAC industry
- Must have relevant technical hands on systems design and commissioning of digital HVAC controls systems
- Strong customer and communication skills to a non-technical audience
- Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Niagara AX certified preferred
