About the Role
The Automation Technician supports the installation, operation, and maintenance of automation and electrical systems in the field. This role works closely with the team to ensure reliable performance of equipment and systems while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain automation and electrical equipment and related components.
- Support commissioning and testing of automation systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to improve reliability and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose system issues and implement effective repairs in a timely manner.
- Communicate clearly with team members to coordinate work and support daily operations.
- Follow established procedures and maintain a strong safety-first approach.
Qualifications
- Electrical or automation experience preferred.
- Strong work ethic.
- Strong connectivity with the team and ability to work collaboratively.
- Local to Midland, Carlsbad, Pecos, or Hobbs.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $30-35/hr (W2)
- Schedule: 10/4 Rotation (10 hr days, 50 hrs/week)
- Location: Midland, TX (travel required to other locations)
