Automation Technician

About the role

We are seeking an Automation Technician to support and maintain industrial robots, packaging equipment, and automated manufacturing systems in a high-volume production environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on automated equipment
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures
• Responding to production breakdowns and restoring equipment safely and efficiently
• Reading electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams, and equipment manuals
• Using diagnostic tools like multimeters to troubleshoot circuits
• Supporting downstream automation and packaging systems
• Documenting repairs and communicating issues to production leadership
• Participating in continuous improvement efforts

Requirements

• 3-5 years of industrial automation or electro-mechanical maintenance experience
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial robots
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and fault diagnosis
• Ability to read electrical and pneumatic diagrams
• Experience using multimeters on AC/DC circuits
• Manufacturing background with stable employment history
• High school diploma or GED
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Sepro robots, injection molding machines, and downstream packaging automation
• Knowledge of vacuum systems, welding, torch cutting, and forklift operation
• Technical training or background in high-volume manufacturing sectors

Pay

Hourly pay of $28.00-$38.00 based on experience.
