Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot all systems and subsystems of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS), including conveyors, robotic arms, and End of Arm Tools.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system components, including sensors, PLCs, fieldbus communication, and network systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and adjustments to ensure system reliability.
- Replace and repair conveyor mechanical components (chains, belts, rollers, drive motors) and control system sensors (photo-eyes, proximity, electronic sensors).
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in CMMS and report issues to management with estimated repair timelines.
- Assist and train automation technicians in troubleshooting and repair procedures.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment by removing replaced parts and maintaining equipment areas.
- Work safely in cold environments and at heights, following all company safety protocols.
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of 480V, 277V, and 120V electrical systems (single and three-phase).
- Advanced experience with PLCs, network diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and Illustrated Parts Breakdowns.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude to replace and maintain RGV and crane components.
- Experience with CMMS and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in varying temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and working at heights up to 100 feet.
- Ability to lift 50Ibs/23Kgs.
