Automation Technician
About the role
You will be in charge of machine builds from start to finish.
You will direct and delegate tasks to technicians working on the project.
You will ensure the customer’s machine has a quality cosmetic appearance upon completion.
You will perform trouble shooting, testing, and repairs.
You will review project timelines to ensure schedule is being met.
You will give recommendations for mechanical and electrical design changes.
You will review craftsmanship of all work done by oneself and others on each project.
You will travel to perform mechanical and electrical infield work.
You will travel to start-up equipment and train customer representatives at customer’s facility.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- You have a minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing.
- You have a two-year technical degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, Machine Assembly Technology, Automotive, Diesel or similar (this is a plus).
- You have the ability to work together as a team to reach the common goal.
- You have a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
Your profile includes:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing.
- A two-year technical degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, Machine Assembly Technology, Automotive, Diesel or similar (this is a plus).
- The ability to work together as a team to reach the common goal.
- A valid driver’s license.
Skills

- Technical degree in relevant field (optional).
