Automation Technician
Responsibilities
- Provide programming support for equipment design and implementation.
- Aid in the startup of equipment and ensure it meets project specifications.
- Collaborate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal team members.
- Travel approximately 45% of the time for 5-day trips to support project needs.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Rockwell and Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Strong knowledge of controls, fluid processes, and electrical schematics.
- Ability to build panels and troubleshoot electrical issues.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Wonderware and HMI FactoryTalk.
- Familiarity with RS Logic 5000.
Work Environment
The work environment consists of a team of three programmers under the direction of an engineering manager. The role involves both in-house work and travel, with trips making up 45% of the time, typically lasting five days and rarely extending into weekends. The position offers opportunities to work independently, especially suitable for those who thrive in smaller company settings.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr.
