Job Responsibilities

  • Work directly with customers to understand manufacturing, automation, and production requirements.
  • Evaluate customer needs and define the optimal Haeger automation solution, including machine configurations, options, software, and services.
  • Lead the service organization, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient issue resolution.
  • Develop detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) that clearly define project scope, deliverables, responsibilities, timelines, and acceptance criteria.
  • Act as technical lead during customer discussions, solution reviews, and project alignment meetings.
  • Lead cross-functional project execution from order through installation and customer acceptance.
  • Act as primary escalation point for issues during startup and early production.
  • Laise with customers throughout the project and manage communications and deliverables.
  • Develop product marketing and technical documentation.
  • Partner with sales and marketing to ensure consistent market messaging.
  • Work with customers to define and implement service programs.
  • Ensure alignment between product design, service capability, and long-term customer support.
  • Act as technical authority across Haeger’s product portfolio.
  • Support internal teams in resolving complex technical and customer issues.
  • Translate customer feedback into product and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in automation, manufacturing, or related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading automation projects from concept to completion.
  • Strong understanding of automation technologies, including machine configurations, software, and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Experience in developing and managing Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Experience in defining and implementing service programs.
  • Ability to act as a technical authority across Haeger’s product portfolio.
