Job Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to understand manufacturing, automation, and production requirements.
- Evaluate customer needs and define the optimal Haeger automation solution, including machine configurations, options, software, and services.
- Lead the service organization, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient issue resolution.
- Develop detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) that clearly define project scope, deliverables, responsibilities, timelines, and acceptance criteria.
- Act as technical lead during customer discussions, solution reviews, and project alignment meetings.
- Lead cross-functional project execution from order through installation and customer acceptance.
- Act as primary escalation point for issues during startup and early production.
- Laise with customers throughout the project and manage communications and deliverables.
- Develop product marketing and technical documentation.
- Partner with sales and marketing to ensure consistent market messaging.
- Work with customers to define and implement service programs.
- Ensure alignment between product design, service capability, and long-term customer support.
- Act as technical authority across Haeger’s product portfolio.
- Support internal teams in resolving complex technical and customer issues.
- Translate customer feedback into product and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in automation, manufacturing, or related field.
- Proven track record of successfully leading automation projects from concept to completion.
- Strong understanding of automation technologies, including machine configurations, software, and services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Experience in developing and managing Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Experience in defining and implementing service programs.
- Ability to act as a technical authority across Haeger’s product portfolio.
