About the Role

As the Automation Quality Assurance Analyst III, you will play an important role in ensuring the quality of our software solutions by designing and executing both functional and automated tests. This role will identify, document, and help resolve software defects while collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and scrum masters. You will contribute to automation efforts using tools like TestCafe, Selenium, and others, and may provide guidance to team members while promoting best practices in quality assurance.

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but serves as a coach and mentor for employees and management within assigned business groups. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Functional and Automation Testing: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases. Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Cucumber, Selenium, JUnit, TestCafe, or similar frameworks. Perform regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure software reliability.
• Application Analysis Excellence: Analyze software requirements and specifications to understand "the how" of current or new applications. Document and recommend solutions for moderate to complex business problems. Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and expectations.
• Documentation Excellence: Ensure all functional procedures are properly documented. Record root cause analyses and remediation steps for defects. Maintain clear and detailed records of testing activities and outcomes.
• Quality Excellence: Verify that proposed fixes or enhancements align with business requirements. Test solutions for performance and accuracy before promotion to production environments. Advocate for best practices in quality assurance and software testing.
• Personnel Excellence: Develop expertise in both legacy systems and current applications relevant to your line of business. Stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies. Contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in software testing, including both functional and automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
• Experience with Guidewire Policy Center is required.

Pay

Salary Range: $53,508 - $88,288. The range represents a potential base salary and may vary depending on experience and location. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation, such as benefits and bonus programs.

Schedule

This is a hybrid-eligible position, requiring in-office work Monday through Wednesday at one of the following locations: Reno (NV), Monterey (CA), Phoenix (AZ), or Spokane (WA). Thursday and Friday are eligible for work-from-home days.
