Work Environment
This is a hybrid-eligible position, requiring in-office work Monday through Wednesday and offering remote work options on Thursday and Friday. Office locations include Reno (NV), Monterey (CA), Phoenix (AZ), and Spokane (WA).
Responsibilities
- Functional and Automation Testing:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
- Perform regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure software reliability.
- Application Analysis Excellence:
- Analyze software requirements and specifications to understand current or new applications.
- Document and recommend solutions for moderate to complex business problems.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and expectations.
- Documentation Excellence:
- Ensure all functional procedures are properly documented.
- Record root cause analyses and remediation steps for defects.
- Maintain clear and detailed records of testing activities and outcomes.
- Quality Excellence:
- Verify that proposed fixes or enhancements align with business requirements.
- Test solutions for performance and accuracy before promotion to production environments.
- Advocate for best practices in quality assurance and software testing.
- Personnel Excellence:
- Develop expertise in both legacy systems and current applications relevant to your line of business.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies.
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Serve as a coach and mentor for employees and management within assigned business groups (no direct supervisory responsibilities).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in software testing, including both functional and automation testing.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $53,508 - $88,288. Actual salaries may vary within this range based on experience and location. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation, such as benefits and bonus programs.
