Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Reads, interprets, and follows blueprints and job instructions to accurately package electrical components including connectors
  • Exhibits an excellent understanding of GD&T
  • Performs in-process checks to ensure products meet internal and customer quality standards
  • Adequately adheres to sound manufacturing processes and safety standards
  • Aids Production Supervisors with all aspects of KPI requirements (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost)
  • Drives Lean & 5S culture across responsible areas
  • Maintains accurate, counts and records of daily transactions of materials, Works-In-Progress, and finished goods through assigned areas, whether manually or electronically

Job Requirements

  • Operates our automated contact machines daily, ensuring production schedules are met
  • Identifies issues from machine errors and test results, basic troubleshooting skills required
  • Keeps management and supervisors aware of supply shortages to ensure operational capability
  • Facilitates the preparation of Works-In-Progress and finished goods for shipment with urgency in respect to delivery dates and shipping timelines
  • Identifies parts and materials from specifications, drawings, or instructions
  • Works with peers and management to facilitate and ensure timely processing of parts and materials
  • Works with all tools, gauges, precise measuring equipment, weighing equipment, and automated equipment necessary to complete tasks
  • Displays strong communication, Core Value commitment & excellent attendance
  • Displays intermediate computer skills
  • Displays motivated self-starter, possesses abilities to work under general supervision
