Automation I – Canister Calibration

About the role

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and maintain drug canisters for automated drug dispensing equipment (Opti-Fill)
• Clean canisters according to prescribed schedules and procedures
• Audit canister performance and test canister performance
• Investigate quality assurance issues and troubleshoot canister electro-mechanical problems
• Maintain canister information database with basic computer skills

Requirements

• One year+ experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment/mechanical components
• Illinois Pharmacy Technician License and verification before first day
• Completion of 500hr State mandatory training in product selection
• Verification of high school diploma, GED, or 2 years of equivalent work experience
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
• Ability to work mandatory overtime/extended work week when needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Close visual acuity to perform tasks such as viewing a computer screen and reading
• Ability to bend, stoop, and extend hands and arms
• Ability to express and exchange ideas by means of spoken word

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience

Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience
• Basic computer skills

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $16.00 - $28.84. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.

Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, 10pm-6:30am.
