Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist with the support and execution of automation and controls projects
- PLC programming and modifications to support client projects
- HMI programming and modifications to support client projects
- Prepare system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics
- Interface with project team members to schedule, implement, and track automation projects
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
- Coursework or hands-on experience with PLC and HMI programming
- Familiarity with ladder logic and Rockwell/Allen Bradley hardware (PowerFlex, Kinetix, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, etc.)
- Knowledge of software tools such as Visual Studio, SQL, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks Electrical preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Able to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related field)
- Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills
- Interest in industrial automation and control systems
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or hold a Permanent Resident Green Card
