We are looking for an Automation & Controls Estimating & Solutions Engineer to join our Indianapolis team to develop scopes of work, solutions, and project estimates for automation, controls, instrumentation, and validation projects across wastewater and manufacturing facilities. What You Will Do Develop technical and cost estimates for automation, controls, instrumentation, and validation projectsReview project specifications, engineering documents, and client requirementsPartner with engineering and operations teams to define project scope and execution strategiesCollaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and technical informationHelp identify the most effective technical solutions for client needsParticipate in proposal development and client discussionsSupport projects across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food & beverage, and industrial manufacturing environmentsBuild relationships with clients, engineering teams, and business stakeholders What Makes This Position Different Influence projects before execution beginsExpand your business, commercial, and technical skillsetGain visibility into project strategy and decision-makingBuild a path toward leadership, business development, or operations managementContribute to high-impact projects supporting leading manufacturers Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline3+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Industrial AutomationControls EngineeringInstrumentationValidation (CQV)System IntegrationProcess AutomationProject EngineeringAbility to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and project scopesStrong communication and organizational skills Preferred Experience supporting regulated manufacturing environmentsExperience developing project estimates, proposals, or technical documentationClient-facing engineering experienceFamiliarity with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, DCS, instrumentation systems, process automation, validation activities, or industrial control systems.
