About the role
Siemens Healthineers is seeking an experienced Automation Chemistry & Immunoassay Sales Executive to lead new business growth and expand our footprint in laboratory diagnostics. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, this role focuses on Chemistry, Immunoassay, and Automation solutions.
Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Identify and pursue new customer opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Strategic Sales Execution: Lead and coordinate strategic sales campaigns, delivering customized solutions that meet customer needs.
- Workflow Consultation: Conduct in-depth workflow analyses and “day in the lab” assessments to uncover operational inefficiencies and present tailored solutions.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders across healthcare systems, laboratories, and IDNs.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and customer feedback to inform account strategies and adapt sales approaches.
- Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline development, and forecasting through CRM tools; participate in quarterly business reviews and account planning sessions.
- Team Collaboration: Partner closely with Account Executives, Sales Specialists, and Healthcare System Executives to ensure alignment of messaging, strategy, and execution across customer engagements.
- Compliance & Ethics: Uphold Siemens Healthineers’ standards for ethical sales practices, regulatory compliance, and customer transparency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related discipline required; MBA or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in complex sales environments, including capital equipment, medical devices, and diagnostics.
- Proven success in new business acquisition and solution selling.
- Strong understanding of laboratory diagnostics, including Chemistry and Immunoassay workflows.
- Experience with strategic sales methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman).
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role with regional travel.
