Responsibilities
- Develop and implement automation roadmaps, including IIoT, robotics, and SCADA systems, to improve manufacturing performance
- Oversee project lifecycles from concept to commissioning, including managing budgets, timelines, and technical documentation (i.e. SOPs, manuals)
- Troubleshoot and support PLCs, robotics, and control systems, reducing downtime and resolving technical issues
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process robustness, efficiency, and safety
- Supervise, mentor, and develop engineering personnel
- Ensure all automation systems meet food safety, sanitary design, and regulatory requirements
- Other projects or duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of related experience and 4+ years of leadership experience
- OR High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) with 9+ years of specific experience and 6+ years of leadership experience
