Responsibilities
- Design, program, and maintain automation and control systems.
- Lead capital automation projects from concept through implementation.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams.
- Improve equipment reliability, productivity, and process performance.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting and system optimization.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, machine vision systems, and related controls.
- Create and maintain electrical schematics using CAD software.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, equipment procurement, and commissioning activities.
- Design and support automation solutions for industrial manufacturing applications.
- Analyze equipment performance and implement process improvements.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment failures.
- Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards.
- Travel to customer sites and project locations as required.
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Experience programming and troubleshooting PLC, HMI, and machine vision systems.
- Proficiency with CAD software for electrical schematic development.
- 5-10 years of manufacturing automation and controls experience.
- Must be located in the Navasota area or within a reasonable commuting distance; this is an onsite position.
