Automation Analyst Intern
About the role
Axos Bank’s 12-week Summer Internship Program offers hands-on experience, contributes to enterprise initiatives, and develops professional skills in a tech-driven financial setting. Interns can choose between two sessions to fit their school calendars.
Responsibilities
- Support Axos Bank’s enterprise automation initiatives by designing and delivering scalable, low-code solutions.
- Collaborate with technology and business partners to build well-governed, high-impact automation solutions.
- Develop, configure, and enhance automation solutions using low-code/no-code platforms.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Document functional requirements, technical designs, and process flows.
- Create and test workflows, integrations, and basic UI components within automation tools.
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot automation workflows; recommend enhancements and optimizations.
- Collaborate with analysts, developers, and business partners to deliver scalable, well-documented solutions.
Requirements
The role requires hands-on exposure to Axos Bank’s Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements analysis, development, testing, and deployment within a regulated financial services environment. Candidates should have:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with low-code/no-code platforms.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Completion of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with automation tools and platforms.
- Knowledge of financial services regulations.

Pay
Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education. The target range is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
Schedule
Interns can choose between two sessions to accommodate varying school calendars:
- Session 1: May 27 - August 14
- Session 2: June 16 - September 4
