Automated Storage & Retrieval System Forklift Operator - 1st shift

About the role

The ASRS (Automated Storage & Retrieval System) Forklift Operator at Grassland Dairy Products is responsible for efficient material handling and product placement.

Responsibilities

• Follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices.
• Verify quality control items such as product coding, packaging, sampling, etc.
• Organize and rotate stock within FIFO guidelines.
• Communicate with dock personnel regarding ongoing organization of the warehouse.
• Communicate with inventory leadership regarding product placement and organization.
• Maintain proper documentation in all record-keeping formats.
• Perform forklift operations for the ASRS facility.
• Account for daily production totals and product placement.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the products manufactured and the processes involved.
• Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping throughout the plant as needed.
• Backfill to other positions/departments as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM
