Automated Sideload Garbage Truck Driver (Miami)

About the role

Operate an automated side load garbage truck on assigned routes to collect commercial solid waste, ensuring timely and safe disposal while interacting courteously with customers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an automated side load garbage truck on specified routes to collect commercial solid waste.
• Ensure accurate and timely collection and disposal of waste by operating hydraulic systems to empty containers.
• Interact courteously with customers while performing the job.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working order.
• Follow safety protocols during collection and disposal.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including loading and unloading waste from front‑load containers.
• Maintain cleanliness of the truck and work area.
• Follow route sheets and service each customer assigned by the dispatcher.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs without accommodation.
• At least 2+ years of stable job history, with most recent job being a CDL driver position.
• At least 2 years of CDL driving experience.
• No accidents on driving record in the last five years.

Pay

$23‑$25 per hour (DOE).

Schedule

Approximately 50‑55 hours per week, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays as needed.
