Automated Logic- BAS/BMS Lead Field Technician
About the role
Lead commissioning and optimization of advanced BAS for HVAC, lighting, and energy systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and integration issues across multiple platforms (WebCTRL®, Niagara, Schneider, Honeywell).
Integrate third-party systems using BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks.
Configure controls, trends, alarms, and reports; manage secure network connections.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.
Deliver customer training and ensure systems perform exactly as promised.
Responsibilities
- Lead commissioning and optimization of advanced BAS for HVAC, lighting, and energy systems.

Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of experience in Building Automation, HVAC, or technical field.
- Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade.
- Capable of lifting items up to 50lbs.
- Valid and current Driver’s License and can be insured by the company’s insurance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma in HVAC, Controls, or related field.
- Proficient with advanced building automation software, such as WebCTRL, and installing building automation controls.
- Expert with TCP/IP networks including wireless technology.
- Experience interacting with a large and diverse number of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of multiple disciplines.
- Able to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications.

Pay
The annual salary for this position is between $64,500.00 - $129,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
