Automated Line Technician
Overview
The Automated Line Technician role at Fresenius Medical Care is responsible for providing technical and administrative support in the installation and operation of automated production and/or assembly lines. This includes interacting with engineering, quality, maintenance, and other business functions to keep equipment operational and achieve production objectives. The role also involves partnering in efforts to troubleshoot machine sections, operating equipment, establishing test methods, creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and assisting with equipment validation.
Success Profile
A successful Automated Line Technician should have the ability and aptitude to quickly learn new process equipment, proven contribution to a cross-functional and diverse team, a strong working knowledge of PLC and HMI systems, experience troubleshooting advanced automated processes, assembly, and packaging electro-mechanical systems, understanding and troubleshooting vision/barcode systems, experience working with inline print systems, and the ability to develop detailed process maps and SOPs. They should also demonstrate the ability to complete tasks and deliver output under a constrained timeline, assist with equipment validation, and adhere to the Code of Business Conduct and company policies.
