We are looking for experienced Auto Collision Journey Level Body Techs and Tear Down Disassembly and Reassembly Techs to join the Chilton Auto Body team at several of our San Francisco Bay Area locations.
About the role
Examine vehicles for collision-related damage and document the time and effort required to repair and refinish vehicles to pre-accident condition in accordance with industry standards and insurance company guidelines. Responsibilities include tear down and re-assembly of vehicles; welding with MIG and Spot resistance welders; replacing panels; straightening, grinding, sanding, and filling repair panels; and repairing frames and unibody using a frame rack.
Requirements
- 3+ years of previous experience in automotive collision repair (required for A-tech level)
- Knowledge of automotive disassembly and reassembly
- I-CAR certifications (a plus, but not required)
- Detail-oriented with a high standard for quality and strong organizational skills
- Must provide your own basic tools
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must agree to and pass a thorough background check

Pay
$40–45/hour (A-Tech), $30–40/hour (B-Tech), $18–30/hour (C-Tech)
