Auto Mechanic Tech - Diagnostics - 1st Shift (Monday to Friday) Bonus $4K (B-Level) $6K (A-Level)

About the role

We’re looking for automotive mechanics with a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience to join us at Carvana. As an experienced auto technician, you will perform a full range of automotive repairs—from light maintenance to heavy engine work—and diagnostics on our vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform general to complex repairs on all makes and models, ranging from timing belts and suspension systems to heavy engine work.
• Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical issues, including work on electric and hybrid vehicles.
• Complete repairs for wheel bearings and axles, as well as vehicle climate control systems including ACs and heater cores.

Requirements

• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools - must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
• An ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment while sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold).
• Use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment.

Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience is required.

Skills

Experience with automotive repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance is necessary.
