Join our team at the Town of Sharon Department of Public Works as an Auto Equipment Operator — operating equipment, maintaining parks and grounds, and stepping up when winter weather hits. We are seeking a full-time Auto Equipment Operator for the Department of Public Works’ Forestry & Grounds Division.
Responsibilities
- Manual labor and operation of various equipment and vehicles for landscaping and maintenance of the Town’s parks, trees, athletic fields, and grounds.
- Mandatory overtime required during snow removal from roadways, parking lots, and sidewalks.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Massachusetts Class B Commercial Driver’s License
- CORI check and mandatory drug testing upon hire
Pay
Starting salary range: $55,048 – $56,178. Current salary range extends to $68,395 in accordance with the AFSCME contract.
