Auto Body Technician - McCook

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quality auto body repairs and part replacements according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Inspect damaged vehicles upon arrival, review repair estimates, and verify all necessary parts are ordered and on-hand.
  • Communicate promptly with shop management regarding supplemental repairs, timeline adjustments, or job status updates.
  • Maintain clean, safe equipment and ensure all safety protocols (including required PPE and respirator use) are strictly followed.
  • Comply with environmental and OSHA regulations regarding paint, hazardous waste, and chemical handling.
  • Collaborate with fellow technicians and shop staff to keep production moving smoothly.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on auto body shop experience OR completion of a 2-year automotive repair training program preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and knowledge of collision repair techniques.
  • Ability to safely operate shop tools and equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $60,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year (Base + Incentives, DOE)
