Auto Body Technician

About the role

Responsible for repairing and maintaining vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Works closely with other technicians and management to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle issues using diagnostic equipment
• Perform repairs including painting, bodywork, and mechanical tasks
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to environmental standards
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair estimates and progress
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new technologies and techniques

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• At least 2 years of related experience in automotive repair
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
