About the role
Auto Body Technician responsible for delivering exceptional vehicle repairs to restore cars to pre-accident condition.
Responsibilities
- Assess and prepare cost estimates for vehicle repairs.
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles using various tools.
- Perform dent repairs, structural realignment, and replace damaged parts.
- Apply paint and finish vehicles to factory standards.
- Ensure repairs meet quality and safety standards through inspections.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet KPIs and uphold brand standards.
- Perform repairs efficiently within labor guidelines, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
- Proficiency in reading work orders and using repair tools.
- Strong understanding of vehicle body repair methods and procedures.
- Ability to work safely in noisy, odorous environments and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Physical ability to bend, stretch, kneel, and inspect vehicles in various weather conditions.
Pay
Compensation is performance-based, dependent on turned hours, with a minimum wage guarantee if earnings fall below that threshold.
