About the role
The Experienced Auto Body Technician is responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to safe, functional, and high-quality condition.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting vehicle damage
- Removing and replacing damaged body components
- Repairing dents, straightening frames, performing bodywork, and preparing vehicles for painting
- Using a variety of hand and power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair equipment while following manufacturer specifications and established safety procedures
- Measuring and aligning vehicle structures
- Properly installing replacement parts
- Ensuring completed repairs meet quality standards
- Maintaining an organized and safe work area
- Properly caring for tools and equipment
- Communicating effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers as needed
Qualifications
- Several years of auto body repair experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently while meeting production schedules
Pay & Schedule
- Full-time, Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
- Salaries Starting: $18 - $30 per hour
