Auto Body Technician

About the role

Firelands Collision by Diehl is hiring an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team. We are looking for a skilled collision repair professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to build a career with a growing automotive organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality collision and auto body repairs
• Repair and replace damaged body panels and components
• Complete structural and frame repairs as needed
• Perform metal finishing, bodywork, and panel alignment
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicles for collision repairs
• Follow repair plans and manufacturer repair procedures
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety standards
• Work efficiently with estimators, painters, parts personnel, and other team members
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Requirements

• Previous professional auto body/collision repair experience required
• Strong knowledge of modern collision repair techniques
• Experience with frame and structural repairs preferred
• Ability to properly use collision repair tools and equipment
• I-CAR or manufacturer certifications are a plus
• Valid driver's license
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
