Key Responsibilities
- Repair damaged vehicle body panels and structural components to OEM and manufacturer specifications
- Perform body, frame, and collision repairs as outlined on repair orders and approved supplements
- Remove, repair, replace, and reinstall vehicle components with precision and attention to detail
- Complete welding, panel replacement, and structural repairs using approved repair procedures
- Inspect vehicle damage and identify any additional repairs or safety concerns
- Communicate effectively with estimators, the Body Shop Manager, and the Parts Department to ensure an efficient repair process
- Maintain accurate documentation of all repairs performed
- Stay current on OEM repair procedures, technical bulletins, and industry best practices through ongoing training
- Operate shop equipment safely while following all company safety policies and environmental regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area
- Treat every customer vehicle with care and professionalism throughout the repair process
- Assist with additional shop responsibilities as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Collision Repair Technician
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of automotive repair techniques and technologies
- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical specifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- 3 Years of high-level Collision Repair Tech experience preferred but not required
- I-Car Gold Class & ASE Certifications preferred but not required
