Auto Body Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Repair damaged vehicle body panels and structural components to OEM and manufacturer specifications
• Perform body, frame, and collision repairs as outlined on repair orders and approved supplements
• Remove, repair, replace, and reinstall vehicle components with precision and attention to detail
• Complete welding, panel replacement, and structural repairs using approved repair procedures
• Inspect vehicle damage and identify any additional repairs or safety concerns
• Communicate effectively with estimators, the Body Shop Manager, and the Parts Department to ensure an efficient repair process
• Maintain accurate documentation of all repairs performed
• Stay current on OEM repair procedures, technical bulletins, and industry best practices through ongoing training
• Operate shop equipment safely while following all company safety policies and environmental regulations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area
• Treat every customer vehicle with care and professionalism throughout the repair process
• Assist with additional shop responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Collision Repair Technician
• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of automotive repair techniques and technologies
• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical specifications
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• 3 Years of high-level Collision Repair Tech experience preferred but not required
• I-Car Gold Class & ASE Certifications preferred but not required
