Auto Body Prepper

About the role

We’re looking for Auto Body Preppers with a minimum of 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience to join us at Carvana. You’ll prep vehicles for paint, including sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down, and buffing.

Responsibilities

• Prep vehicles for paint, including sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down, and buffing.
• Operate vehicle equipment and tools, lifting up to 60 pounds independently.
• Work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold).
• Use safety equipment such as face shields, goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, masks, and other protective garments and equipment.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Some positions may require a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
